Faction Rules

  • Scarper: After enemy activation, one Ratling can dash freely but not near visible enemies.
  • Sniper Positions: Ratlings near heavy terrain and far from enemies gain Silent on rifle stationary profile.
  • Purloined Rations: Once per turning point, improve rifle Hit stat by 1 when shooting.

Strategic Ploys

  • Sniper Positions: Ratling rifles gain Silent when stationary near heavy terrain
  • Shifty: Concealed Ratlings in cover cannot be targeted except within 2"
  • Crack Shots: Ratling rifles gain Balanced when shooting distant enemies
  • Frontline Assault: Ratling Bullgryn/Ogryn weapons gain Balanced near objectives or enemy territory

Firefight Ploys

  • Survival Instincts: Block enemy successes when defending as Ratling.
  • Larcenous: Pick up markers without controlling them as Ratling.
  • Sharpshot: Shoot without friendly Ratlings blocking target selection.
  • Shoot and Hide: Change to Conceal order after shooting with rifle.

Equipment

  • Purloined Rations: Improve rifle Hit stat by 1 once per turning point
  • Stolen Goods: Roll D3 for CP gain/loss after selecting operatives
  • Lucky Round: Give rifle Severe rule once per turning point
  • Improvised Armour: 5+ defence dice are critical successes for Ratling Bullgryn/Ogryn

A:
A RATLING kill team always consists of one RATLING FIXER and ten additional operatives. Up to three of those additional operatives can be BULLGRYN or OGRYN. For each of those three that is not, you select a different RATLING operative and one ploy to cost you 0CP for the battle.

  • Additional Rules:

    • Other than BULLGRYN, OGRYN, and SNIPER operatives, your kill team can only include each operative on this list once.
    • You cannot select more than three of BULLGRYN, OGRYN, and SNIPER operatives combined.
    • Up to three times, instead of selecting one of these operatives, you can select one RATLING ploy to cost you 0CP for the battle.
